Russell Brand dresses up as Batman, makes homoerotic jokes about Robin
What is it about the idea of rubber on flesh that is just so right? It’s not even that I want to find Russell Brand attractive. I look at photos of him – like these, from the NYC set of the Arthur remake – and I think he looks funny. He brings a smile to my face. But then I realize that if he were actually standing in front of me in this Batman costume, I would be all over him. I wouldn’t be able to help myself.
Anyway, Russell wore a Batman costume yesterday for some scene in the Arthur remake. I have no idea what kind of plot point this is, but God bless. I could watch Russell suck water while in costume from a straw all day.
Russell was also tweeting about his Batman experience, and he wrote something that may offend some. Just keep in mind that in England, “fag” means “cigarette”.

Also – for those keeping up, Russell and Helen Mirren are getting along famously, as I thought they would. Russell put up the following photo with the message “Helen Mirren has been successfully corrupted. She is also now pregnant.”
